Community & Service

.

I have contributed to many Community Services like gathering donations for the Salvation Army and participating in activities for local age cares and church. I have also participated in bands such as the Senior Wind Ensemble. In year 8, I was a Class Representative and I have contributed to managing and organising transition assemblies, helping around my class with the tutor and students and communicating with students and tutors. Before that, in Year 7, I was a Service Representative, participating in several community-charity work and especially assisting the Salvation Army with the people in need.

Service Councillor

In 2020, Year 7, I was elected to be a Service Councillor and contributed to the mountain of warmth program, which I did really enjoy as I love helping the community. I contributed to the planning, promoting, implementing, and presenting of the mountain of warmth program to the college, and drawing in students, teachers, and families of all Saints’ to support the people in need. My class last year, 7Z, had the largest contribution amongst all transition year levels, which is an achievement that I am proud of.

My Service Councillor & Class Representative Badge for 2020 & 2021

In 2020, the year 7 cohort participated in a Christmas market, in which we made products for Christmas gifts from $30 and sold these to year 5 – 8’s and teachers. The remaining money we had made from the sale was donated to the salvation army to be set for good use.

In 2021, Year 8, I was elected as a Class Representative for my Tutor Group 8Z and contributed to many events and activities throughout the year, benefiting All Saints’ College students. For example, we organised and set up various assemblies, chapels and important yearly events. One that stood out to all of Year 8 was the “End of Transition” Day, where Year 8’s could enjoy their transition to Upper Senior School with their friends, family and teachers. In my opinion, we, the class reps, along with Mr Green, organised this event very well, with everything going in order and to plan. Being a leader and representative for my class and Year 8 was a great experience as gained lots of knowledge on strategies for managing events and allowed me to work with great people at the college.

College & House Contributions

I have largely contributed to my house Durack by participating in many sporting events. I had been selected for the ACC Interschool Swimming Team in Years 7, 8 and 9, ACC Athletics Team 2020 & 2021 and Futsal One-day Carnival in Years 7 and 8 to compete, win and help the college against other schools in Perth.

Also, I’ve been awarded the best swimmer certificate in Durack for under 13 and under 14. I helped my house in doing multiple Interhouse sports like soccer and I have volunteered with some events for running or helping in that event.

Local Age Cares and Church

Every year, I am engaging at the local churches and aged cares by playing calming music on occasions. I have helped and entertained elder people at church and aged cares with my music and calmed them near Christmas, Easter and at several other important events.

Club Engagement

For Several Years, I have been involved with my soccer academy and have been selected to participate in a very important and prestigious cup, The IberCup 2019. It is one of the most important World Youth Football Tournaments on the Planet including over 90 different countries with about 50,000 players every year, and it showcases a fantastic experience and extraordinary opportunities to compete with top teams. I have also competed in several clubs such as UWA Nedlands FC & Murdoch University Melville FC.
