Visual Art Project

In Project X I chose to do Visual Arts. Visual Art is a great way to bring out your creative side and have time to be free and create whatever you like. This term we will be doing pour art which is a style of art where you can create marble effects and ripples and cells by using paint. It might look simple but in reality it is really hard! I am very excited to get started on pour art because I love to create and let my creativity flow over a canvas, which is exactly what we are doing in art! This style of art takes a lot of practice and will also be displayed around the school.

My Achievements

In my past years I have been involved in multiple service opportunities. One of my most recent ones was doing an artwork and selling it to raise money for Nulsen. The project was to create an artwork using recycled materials. I have also received a few awards including the All Saints’ medal and the Riley trophy for showing service and faith.  At the 2019 swimming carnival I received runner-up for year 7 girls Durack. I am also involved with multiple sports and co-curricular such as Inter-house sport and cheer leading. I have received many awards inside of cheer and my team and I recently won a bid to America. My cheer team is very successful and are the highest team in our division. I have also been involved with two different ICAS tests this year, English ICAS and Science ICAS.
