Reflection on COVID-19

2020 has been a really weird year for all of us. Who thought that at the beginning of the year that their would be a pandemic that would forever change the way that we live. It also gave me a chance to grow and learn more about me and the community.

For me I learnt that being at home I felt less rushed, this was because we did not have the same level of pressure that we do at school. Recess and Lunch as well as the times between classes would be very easy since you didn’t have to change were you were, and recess and lunch would have no pressure to change what you are doing or worry about the time as you are just sitting their all the time. On the negative side I decided that I like to interact with my friends and socialise with others. I also found that with out the rigidness of school I become easily distracted. It was interesting though that I could change the way I did school so quickly. It also makes you think before you talk as you have to unmute yourself before you can talk.

I loved the ability to spend more time with my family as my dad was at home with us. I also realised that I sometimes need so distance from my sister.

I also learnt things about the community  for example teachers would commonly assign excess work or sometimes not enough work, they would also give us repetitive work when less work would have worked. It was interesting to note that teachers began to feel the need to have more control over the class.
