About Me

Hi, I’m Joy, I am currently thirteen years old and a Year 8 student at All Saints College.

Many people see me as an optimistic, fun, loving and energetic person however I am positive and serious when it comes to academic work, I am aware of the need to excel as I will always present my work to the best of my ability. I am always actively involved in school, both in the classroom and outside. I enjoy meeting new challenges and opportunities as each new venture gives me the adrenaline rush that propels me to extend myself.

All Saints has helped me with my values is by giving me a wide range of volunteering opportunities like the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal and Amana Advocates, each year hosting a school event. I have always believed that having a positive mindset will always make your day a tiny bit better. I don’t do anything major but when passing city streets and seeing homeless people or buskers, giving them a little money always brighten my day. At the end of the day always standing up for your values and things that are important to you is what matters the most.

For the future, I plan on heading to university either in Perth or Inter-state. I would love to gain more experience and responsibilities before university by doing a broad range of part-time jobs so that I can meet new people and learn new skills.
