Hi, my name is Sophie, I am a year 8 at All Saints’ College. I do Basketball and Rowing for the college, and I play the acoustic guitar also for the college. I love to ride, look after and care for my pony Mini. I am someone who is friendly and can easily work and become friends with others. My favourite subjects are science, pe and english. I am happiest when I am around my friends, and playing sports. Whether it be in class or on the oval, I bring positivity, humour and happiness, and I love to participate in everything, even if it is something I have not had previous experience doing.

Some of the qualities/capabilities I think are most important in myself are problem solving, resilience and collaboration. Problem solving is being able to think of a solution to a difficult or complex situation. I think I am good at using problem solving because when I face something difficult, I can usually find a solution. Resilience is always trying again after failing until you get it right. I find that I used resilience quite often and I think it is very important for me to use in everyday life. Collaboration is working effectively in a group of 2 or more people. I use collaboration in not only my sports, basketball and rowing, but in the classroom as well and it is a very important capability that I find helpful in all areas of group work.
