After watching “Tulip Mania” (on SeeSaw), can you think of something in your experience / life where the price soars and then drops suddenly?
A big bubble that I have seen happen was when fidget spinners were very poplar then the pries got to high and no one wanted to buy it any more. It was not all their fault because it was used as a good fidget toy at school, then lots of school banned it so there was not much point to buy it. The same thing happened with ooshies some were sold for 10000 dollars on eBay saying that they were rare. The company that created ooshies were quite smart because they made limited editions and as you know that triggers the mind to get it.
How can i protect my wealth in WW5
The sporty city, compered to other cities don’t have as much tulips but we have the most land and tulips so I would be happy for this to happen and adapt to this new rule change. Because we have bigger land than others it is more likely to have that recourse within are land meaning we will be wealthier than others because we got the resource before them.
Why is it important for Cities to have “cool stuff”, to have “wealth, and to be “inclusive”?
All of those components to a good city connect to each other to create a full circle. If you are inclusive and no one is sexist or racist more people will live in your city. When you have more people you will become wealthier because of tax. When your city is wealthy it can build cool stuff gaining more people to go their.
Why do we have cool stuff in cities?
From live theater to museums to galleries to gardens and everything in between, cities are plain fun. And because they harbor diverse entertainment options, you can pay as much as you want. Locations range from totally free parks to pricey multiday concerts. You’ll never be bored living in a city, and your social calendar will be full– unless you need to relax in your PJs and watch Netflix, which is also a great form of entertainment. This is good because it releases stress, and your life becomes a lot more fun and exiting.
how does wealth affect your city
While wealth has always provided power, this has increased in modern times when wealth has become a basic source of influence. With increased globalization, the disparity between rich and poor has widened and more and more wealth has passed into corporate control. So with wealth you can gather more citizens.
Why should all cities be inclusive.
Lack of access to essential infrastructure and services is a daily struggle for many disadvantaged households; Social inclusion: an inclusive city needs to guarantee equal rights and participation of all, including the most marginalized.
What have you enjoyed about this Inquiry?
This inquiry has bean so much fun when logging in to Minecraft and building what we say livable cities. I enjoyed it the most when me and G-man built a sports complex and stadiums in creative mode but I also like survival. I am looking forward to the war we are going to have and it could be my new favorite memory.
What have you found difficult or frustrating about the Inquiry? What changes would you make?
For me it was quite frustrating when we had to put in redstone for every structure. For me and G-man this was especially frustrating because we suck at redstone and it took us a long time to put redstone in every house. I also think that we should of had more time on WW5 because I wasn’t even close to finishing Sporty City. Also I think we should have a set date on what year were in. Lets say it is the 2 September 1666 that was the time were the great fire happened in London and we try our best to reenact that crisis. This is good because it teaches the students about history and it tests their city.
