InnovatED Term 3

In InnovatED last term, we split up into groups to research the UN Global Goals. I chose Goal 17 (Clean and Renewable Energy) with Dr Jim.
For my project I made a CoSpaces world that showed two different examples of renewable energy, which were solar panels and wind turbines. I spent a few weeks on this, and finished it in around Week 7, a week before we were supposed to finish it.
I had to upload my own photos of solar panels and wind turbines, which made it a bit harder because they didn’t look 3D.

Education Perfect

This year I took French as a language. We use Education Perfect to practice our skills in French, and I use it a lot as I find it a more fun way to study than reading over notes. Currently I have the most points on Education Perfect in the school, with around 10,350 points.

I also participated in the Education Perfect World Series Languages Championship, and I got 642 points, which earnt me a Credit certificate. I wish that I’d had the time to get more, but I still think that it is a good achievement. I recieved a certificate for the points, and I am happy that I did because I don’t normally get these types of achievements.

Our school doesn’t have a licence for Maths on Education Perfect, but for their World Series Matsh Championship (which I took part in) I was able to access the maths activities. I also earnt a certificate in this competition, but it was a higher one than the one I earned for French. I earned 1,365 points in the maths competition, scoring me a bronze certificate.
