In both Year 5 and Year 6 I was chosen for the interschool spelling bee, which is held at Guildford Grammar once each year for students in Years 4-6. Only two students from Year 4, two from Year 5, and two from Year 6 at each participating school are chosen each year to represent their school. I came fifth in Year 5, but sadly I came second last in Year 6. It was a fun experience and I would love to do it again, except there isn’t a category for high school students.
