I would consider myself a curious person. In almost every area of life, the first question I always ask is, Why? Why do we do it like that? Why did that happen? Why is it like that? Why did they do that? I’m particularly interested in history, politics and human behaviour. It makes sense that at the moment my aspirations are to become a lawyer and then a politician later in life. I think these are the areas where I could make the most difference and help make the world fairer and more equal – all while doing something I love.

I think I’m a loyal, independent and ethical person. One of my favourite ways of spending time is hanging out with people in my inner circle. I also really love to surf but wish I could do it more. This year I’ve represented my school in interschool debating. We are undefeated in the AHISA  competition and we made it into the quarter-finals of the state competition. Hopefully we’ll win next year. Debating has helped me a lot with my public speaking and has helped me think on my feet.
