I am a Year 12 student at All Saints College, currently completing a VET/general pathway. In 2024, I completed a Certificate III in Animal Care and am now working towards a Certificate IV in Environmental and Marine Conservation at Health Science Hub. This certification aligns with my passion for the ocean and the environment.
I can apply the practical skills I’ve gained from my studies, including animal handling, land care, and simply enjoying time in nature on my family’s farm.
At school, I am a House Captain for Forrest House, where my responsibilities include organising carnivals, fundraising events, and other community activities.
I also work part-time at Aunty Lucy’s Cakery, a cake café in Fremantle. My role involves taking orders, plating cakes, making drinks, washing dishes, and keeping the space clean. Foremost, I thrive on the customer interactions and the team environment.
Balancing my various commitments in Year 12 has helped me develop strong time management and planning skills. By maintaining a positive balance between school, work, and extracurricular activities, I was proud to be awarded the Year 11 VET Dux in 2024.
Looking ahead, I hope to pursue a career in environmental conservation or management, particularly in agriculture or mining rehabilitation & conservation areas.
