About Me

Hi, my name is Harry Hayes. I am 13 years old, and I am in year 8 at All saints College, Bull Creek. I have been in Perth for nearly 3 years, and I am passionate cricket player. The most important capability to me is being inquisitive. Being inquisitive is important to me because it allows me to ask question and discover new things. It also allows me to understand different perspectives from different people. Empathy would be my favourite value from ERIC because it helps me to think about others and understand the way they feel or think. I want to try and follow the values of being inquisitive and Empathy because I believe they are qualities that will help me be a kind and friendly person.

The things that make me stand out from others is that I am a quiet achiever. I am also I am also good at technology and mechanical things. I am a hard worker and I strive to do my always do my best. I am a systematic person and I like to focus on one thing at a time to complete larger tasks. I am also a creative person. I like messing around with machinery and making things using machinery. I am a team player and I like working with a team to complete tasks. For example, I have played team sports such as soccer and cricket for many years. I have a good work ethic and I always have the final product in mind when I begin anything. A quote that I try to follow is from a Cyclist name Greg LeMond. He said, “If you can achieve anything without a struggle it’s not going to be satisfying.” I like this quote because it tells me that if things aren’t hard then I will not be satisfied.
