Global Goals:
My group focused mainly on sustainability the most, as it was one of our global goals. The Global Goals are a set of 17 goals that the UN wishes to complete in order for the world to stay healthy. There are many goals to go through and tie together, but the ones my group and I chose were Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (16), Partnerships for the goals (17) and Climate Action (13). Although these goals are equally important as each other, we decided to focus the most on climate action. We implemented goal 16 by adding many laws in our constitution against racism and homophobia, and laws that protect people’s rights in courts and out on the street. We also helped partnerships for the goals by adding a port to trade resources such as doctors, fruits and vegetables, energy, and solar panels. This helps with solving other goals such as zero hunger, good health and wellbeing and clean energy. We are helping with the goal climate action by adding heaps of useful plants and ideas such as water filtering plants and green alley ways.
