The Showcase:
The final day, where we set up our place to show our town and discuss it with parents and other students. During our last InnovatED session, we started setting up our presentation space by putting up some posters and pulling together some desks. We were lucky enough to nab two desks as Anna and I added our sustainable house to the showcase. This would show a more detailed version of the homes in the town model. Just before we finished up, we fumbled around more with the placing of buildings and were happy with our set up. After school, we quickly changed and messed around with friends. All of us were excited to present, yet still nervous about what questions that would be asked. Once the showcase started, the parents piled in and watched the video put together about this project. Soon after, we had multiple parents come up and ask some great questions about how this worked and what that would contribute to. Our parents came down to check our town and we were happy with our work. It was an hour and a half of standing and watching parents walk around, but it was great to showcase all the hard work that went into this large project.
