Aquaponics is an InnovatED subject where we grow plants sustainably using the water from fish tanks and harvest them to make fresh food and produce for the community. It’s an extremely fun lesson where we can get together and get our hands dirty to complete tasks and look after our sustainable set-up. Some things we usually do include; harvesting plants, handing out freshly picked lemons and orange-mandarin things? We also look after the fish and the worm farm, which produces “worm tea”.
