Hi! My name is Jarrah. I am a creative, (usually) quiet person who likes to play games, draw and read. Some of my strengths include academics, empathy , and leadership.

I am a fairly collaborative person, although if I have a choice I will usually choose to work alone. In group settings, I tend to either contribute a lot or not much, depending on the topic and my knowledge of it. I usually keep quiet and get work done. You know those people that are always having ideas and telling people about them? Yeah, that’s definitely not me. I’m one of those people that has an idea and then deems it bad, or too simple. This usually leads to me not sharing much in groupwork, but when I share an idea it’s usually a great one.

My strengths, which I touched on earlier, include a few things I’m really good at, and some that I’m okay at. Things I’m really good at (when I choose to be): Academics, empathy, leadership (I know it’s repetition, but stick with me), reading, fictional world design, drawing, Unite, understanding people, and procrastinating. Things I’m okay at: Splatoon, digital art, getting people to understand me, VGC, Smash Ultimate, and cooking.

I’ve also gotten my fair share of achievements in my (so far) short life, including a few from ASC. I’ve gotten the Learning Area award for Digital Technologies for semester 1 in 2021, I managed a pretty good NAPLAN score for the same year. I got the honour roll for BEBRAS 2020, a high distinction for the Big Science Competition Online Y7 2019 (note: I was in Y5), and a few merit awards for 2021 from ASC.
