Joseph Harrison

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, I have always had a strong connection to my British heritage and family. I love being part of the local community, whether it’s through school, my work in hospitality, or volunteer work. Getting involved and connecting with people has always been important to me.

I have a keen eye for detail, and while I enjoy all aspects of the performing arts, I have a particular passion for technical and creative design, especially theatre lighting. There’s something truly magical about the way lighting can transform a space and bring a performance to life.

I firmly believe in the power of the arts to enrich people’s lives—whether through music, dance, drama, or visual arts. Everyone, no matter their circumstances, should have the opportunity to engage with and be involved in the arts. I’ve experienced firsthand how creativity can bring joy and meaning, and I want others to have that same chance.

Outside of work and the arts, I love spending time with my family and friends, entertaining my cats and dog, and, of course, enjoying good food. There’s nothing better than sharing a meal and a laugh with the people who matter most.
