Stem Build logo *fixed

We were given the task of creating a logo about what we think STEM is at ASC. Overall STEM at ASC is a subject that uses all your knowledge from other subjects in a practical and fun way. Our 3 focuses were collaboration, effective communication and problem solving.
What our logo looked Like
For our project we created a wooden sign with an S made out of an acrylic pipe filled with blue dyed water, the T was made out of 2 LED light strips to represent technology, LEGO for engineering and a laser cut M to represent maths
Team Collaboration
Our team worked pretty-well together. We all had equal jobs in the team, and all played our role in making the project. Ethan did mainly the written work, Mason and Amos did a lot of the physical work but we all got a fair share of everything.
Design Thinking Process
The first thing we did was emphasise the project and find out what we were actually doing. The we defined what STEM was at ASC and what it was at other schools. Then we began our ideation with a few brief designs of our logo and ended up doing the first one we chose, which is the one shown in the image above. These designs were drawn on OneNote.

Virtual Reality Tour pitch video

As the Co-Leader of editing, we had to create a VR video to pitch. Before hand, the videoing team had videoed just around the school. They handed us their video to experiment with. Tyson Neil, Amos Butler and I all edited our videos. When it came to pitching; Tyson’s and Amos’s were too long… So they had to use mine as it was the shortest video of them all. Darren (the salvation army representative) said he liked the VR Tour pitch video and there is lots of potential in this. The next step in this program is to get actual footage of the Salvation army place and edit and use it!
