Task 1: My Values
Gratitude = 15%
Gratitude is one of my core values as I believe that people shouldn’t always be thinking about how bad their life is and about what they want, people should be thinking about what good they have in their life and be grateful for what they have. This value affects the way I live because I always try to see what is good in my life instead of thinking about only my problems and wants. An example of this is how I am constantly arguing with my parents, but instead of getting angry, I need and try to think about how hard they work for me. They are always working to be able to give me a good life and give me a good education so that later I am able to get into a good job that I love doing and that will be able to support me.
Empathy = 12%
Empathy is another one of my values as I believe that people should always be kind and considerate towards others and try to understand if they are in a difficult situation or have a problem. Empathy is important to me as I know that everyone has a problem, whether it is big or small, and that people should be considerate towards others’ problems as they do not know how much these situations are really affecting others’ lives. An example of this is people living on the streets, some people are not empathetic towards these people as they believe that it was their wrongdoing that put them into this situation, although that is not the story for everyone. This value affects my daily life as I am always trying to help and understand others who have a problem and imagen if that were me in their position.
Self respect = 10%
I believe that people should have self-respect as it is important that you always stand up for what you believe in and what you think is right. It is still important to have respect for others, but if you don’t have any self-respect you will not be able to live the life that you choose and you will always be following others and not living the life you want. Self-respect has an impact on my life as I believe that it is important to stand up for yourself and not just follow others.

Unhealthy Role model
Kanye West is a bad influence on many young adults. He is a bad influence as he has done many horrible things in his life and for people who look up to him, or used to look up to him is a very bad influence on their lives. His manner is very appalling and rude towards others, which is not a healthy habit and/or life choice. Kanye is also quite vain and arrogant, he thinks very highly of himself and has referred to himself as an equal to the biblical figure. Kanye West is a terrible role model and should not be looked up to by younger generations. He has also physically attacked one of his own fans which shows that he has no respect for others and for what is wrong and right.
I believe that not everything that is read in the media is true, but depending on the resource some can be trusted and are telling the truth. People should not be fully influenced by the media and what they are reading or watching as it can influence how they are making choices in their life.
