Over Term 2 of 2019, I worked with other Year 8’s to find a solution that a problem that Amana assigned us to solve, “How can we use books and other texts to connect with and build community for older Australians?” We thought of many solutions to this problem, ranging from book clubs to audio books and ebooks. At the end of the term we pitched our ideas from a representative from Amana. Over the whole project, some of the skills that I have improved on are creativity, problem  solving, teamwork and communication. I did this by helping to think and brain storm creative ideas that our group could use and communicating my ideas to everyone. Throughout the process, I saw a few ways where I could improve my self, especially with my teamwork skills. In future projects I plan on improving myself in these ways to be a better and more collaborative team mate.
