Faceless Portrait

In photography class, we had to take a faceless portrait photo. I decided to cover my face with a large leaf as it was big enough to cover my whole face and most of the environment around us was green. I used the path in the background as a leading line and stood in the center of the photo for rule of thirds.

What I like most about this photo is how I incorporated the leading lines into the photo as well as having the leaf relate to the nature behind me. I also think that the photo has good lighting as there are no shadows around my face.

I could have improved this photo by maybe painting the leaf a different colour for it to stand out more in the photo. This would mean that your eyes would be drawn to the leaf more easily, rather than ton my dress which is already a different colour. I also could have improved the photo by having a less busy background and maybe having the camera closer to my face.

An improvement on your previous photo, try experimenting with diffusers to get rid of harsh lights
