Year 8 reflection

Dear year 8 Me

The reason I wrote this post is because Mr Allen told me to and also to reflect on my year. Me best learning experience in year 8 was when we got to do the second part of civics and citizen ship and this is because I really enjoy doing civics and citizenship. If I could magically redo year 8 again then I would probably actually do the study my teachers assign me from the very start as my grades at the start weren’t the best. My most enjoyable experience of year 8 was camp and this is because of two reasons with the first being that I got a break from my sister and from having to do my jobs. The second reason I enjoyed it was because it was the one week of school when I didn’t get any homework or have to worry about doing any homework that week. The biggest contribution I have made to the school, I believe is coming second in the secondary state robotics competition and I did this with hard work and dedication and my partner who did all the coding for our robot Riley. The place where I believe that I learnt the most about myself was probably life skills and this is primarily because life skills was the only class and place where we learnt about ourselves and not the biological side of ourselves but the mental and emotional side of ourselves. The best advice I could give to anyone starting year 8 would probably be to study for tests however because that is already used then I would say that you shouldn’t waste your time complaining about the cathedral excursion because you have to go and it actually isn’t that bad.
