Renewable Energy Vs Coal

There are lot’s of different energy sources that we rely on. Three of them are solar, wind and coal power, these energy sources provide electricity and many other things. Coal power has been around for hundreds of years, and we are starting to find the devastating impacts on our environment. When coal is burned it releases carbon dioxide that affects the atmosphere and causes climate change and global warming that impacts the environment in a series of ways like melting ice caps and rising sea levels. Over time these impacts will slowly cause major problems and we need to switch over to renewable energies. Renewable energy doesn’t release any carbon dioxide and is reusable for ever. The only problem with some renewable energy is that some types create carbon dioxide when they are being made and hydro power destroys the natural water flow.
