Media 2021
What have I done this term in media? well in media were looking at advertisements. we first started analysing ads and discussing what was a good ad and what wasn’t. after this process we got into groups, in my group was Michelle & Jessica. We started brain-storming multiple ideas and decided that we would do a Nike shoe commercial. After our idea got approved from Mr Hamilton we started working on our ad! We brought 15 pairs of Nike shoes in and started our commercial! Our filming commenced over about 4 lessons, we lost multiple clips out of footage which was unfortunate. our ad turned out okay not amazing because we lost so much of this footage. overall we all worked efficiently even though we had to overcome a lot of obstacles. Even though we had to face many obstacles this was a very fun learning experience! If i were to do this again what would I do differently? I would defiantly only film on one camera each lesson so we have less chance of loosing our footage. By doing this each week i can get camera 1 and then once we’re done filming i upload all of our work off camera 1 onto my computer.
High angle
What does a high angle do? a high angle makes you feel vulnerable as the view is someone is looking down on you. Then it makes the person who is powerful, the one who is looking down on you feel powerful and InControl. When filming we did use this angle multiple times, and it was really effective and worked for our ad really well.
Eye level angle
What effect does an eye level angle have? In my opinion it makes the person watching share similar emotions because at eye-level its the same level not below or above. the camera is positioned directly at a character or characters’ eye level. Considered to be a “neutral” camera angle, its function is not to distort or over-dramatize a scene but rather to give the viewer a very familiar perspective.
Low angle
What effect does a low angle have on the viewer? A low-angle shot in a film can convey a number of emotions or feelings about the subject in the frame. It can also break up the visuals, adjusting the feeling and mood of a scene.
