Values

Why do I have some of these values?
Confidence:
Confidence is one of my largest values, it is very important to me when interacting with other people, I am normally a shy quiet person. Having the confidence to do some things will help me with things like performing since I play several instruments and find it difficult to have and participate in social interactions. Despite confidence being one of the values I need to work on the most (a weakness), it is one that is very important to me, something that I want to work on in order to help me with my life.
Excellence:
My family has very high standards for me in school. Excellence is important as I also find it hard on me if I achieve a “bad” result. To me, excellence is something that I want to achieve and strive for in my school life as well as in other aspects outside like extracurricular activities. I especially care for the MESH subjects, math, science, English and HASS. My life is affected by this value because I try very hard to achieve this and do better. However, a downside to having this value is a lot of stress and also being very strict with myself.
Family:
My value of family is connected, hand-in-hand with my value of excellence. I share the same desire as my family for me to do well. Apart from this, I also care very deeply for my family and enjoy spending time. My interactions with my family are affected because I try to be respectful, helpful and not bothersome.
Good and Bad Role Models
GOOD ROLE MODELS
-My dad is a good role model.
-He would spend time with me to study and work to improve in classwork. He would plan and be very systematic when teaching or explaining things. Apart from that, he works very hard. Both at home and in his pharmacy.
-He looks healthy and smiles often. This shows that he is happy a lot of the time and may have good intentions. Some healthy role models would smile and laugh as well.
-My dad inspires me to work harder to improve myself. It is inspiring to see the results of his work and know that with a bit more work, it is attainable.
-He is a hard worker who is humorous and has a wide variety of skills. He is caring, kind and also very intelligent.
-My dad has these values: confidence, wisdom, excellence and knowledge. These are some of the larger values that I have.
BAD ROLE MODELS
-Kim Jong-Un is very cruel, he was known for threatening nuclear warfare and also rumours of him killing his own family. Also, citizens who tested positive for Covid-19 were ordered to be shot. This was supposed to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
-Kim Jong-un promotes violence and has killed political dissidents with anti-aircraft weapons. Because of this treatment, young people should not aim to be like Kim Jong-Un or see him as a role model.
-I believe that these events are true. Many North Korean citizens have escaped and tried to have a new life.
