Muir Reflection

  1. What “Leave No Trace” guidelines have you learnt and met during the unit?

I have learnt to always pick up my rubbish where ever I go. I have also learnt to not damage the area and nature when we go out.

2. Name and describe the five significant events that happened over the past 2 terms in muir personally

5 significant events that I have had in the past 2 terms in Muir were snorkelling at Rotto, cloud shooting, state orienteering, snorkelling at Coogee and our orienteering trips to Manning Park.

3. What was the funniest or most memorable moment in muir so far?

For me, the funniest moment in Muir was when Hassan thought he got a 10x in cloud shooting by popping a balloon. He ran over to check the arrow but it turned out to be Amberly that popped it.

4. What have you learnt about yourself in the course?

What I have learnt about myself is that I should try different things and different activities that I have not done before.

5. How can you use this in the future?

To experience new and different things.

6. How have you felt about being in a natural environment?

It was quite relaxing being in a natural environment away from all the cars and roads.

7. What skills do you need to improve on?

I think I should improve in my organisation skills, swimming skills and leadership

Communication, Teamwork and Problem Solving

9. What is the best thing about Muir?

Working together with other people in our group and muir class.
