Water Cycle and Global Goal 6

every day use water, and waste it, in fact we probably waste more water every day than all the people in your house drink in a day. even though we water more water than we drink there are many ways we can cut down the amount of water we waste some ways are:

  • greywater recycling
  • take shorter showers
  • don’t prewash dishes
  • save rainwater
  • use the small flush on your toilet

greywater recycling

greywater is used water, water that you used for showering or washing your hands, greywater can definitely be reused but a lot of the time we just let it go to waste when it can be cleaned and used again.

greywater recycling will help with our project utopia because it is makes us a step closer to achieving global goal 6 (clean water and sanitisation) witch contributes to a better world, and that is what project utopia is all about.

global goal 6

global goal 6 is clean water and sanitisation. Clean water is something that is hard to find in some places, even in some aboriginal communities up north clean drinking water is something that is hard to find. Did you know that 2.3 billion people lack basic hygiene? Basic hygiene is things like showering, washing your hands, having toilets and things that every household contains. greywater recycling will help a lot with this goal because it is not wasting as much water as we would normally, and by reusing our water we can save some for the hundreds of countries in need of it.
