News Broadcast

In this task, I was put in a group with Domi and Ithe. We worked together to make a news broadcast about one of several topics and we chose online schooling. My role in the group was to be funny along with Ithe and also to be the person that’s interviewed. I also had the base script and then Domi and Ithe worked on it from there. In our group what went well was the fact that the script we started with just had to be edited to fit three people and add a few more pages. This was well because it meant that the time we would spend making a script from scratch we could instead start filming and editing. Another thing that went well was the fact that we didn’t have to re-film many if any parts. This was good for the same reason. It meant that we could get on with other stuff like other projects that had to be edited. What I learned from this task was how to be efficient with filming and also how to use the cameras from the library. The ASC capabilities that this worked with were collaborative and organized. We used these capabilities because we had to agree with many things and also because we had to not mess around and waste time if we wanted to finish on time. And this worked in our favor because around the end we had finished everything so I just browsed memes.
