East Fremantle Blues

-English Autobiographical writing – part B

I was a captain for my Lacrosse team the ‘East Fremantle Blues’ we had made it to the grand-finals with the tremendous help of Lachy and I who had created a sheet with various team layouts that had been working perfectly up to this game, the whole team was relying on the sheet although Lachy and I were always looking for potential changes to better our team against our opponents.

I was one of the better players in my team putting in more effort in training and always being there to support other players when they felt down or weren’t having such a good game. In the grand-final game Lachy and I kept spirits high with team chants and constructive feedback after every quarter to make sure we all played our best, Lachy and I showed real Leadership throughout the whole season especially this game.

In the Grand-final game in the third quarter we began struggling to break the opponents defence so I got to work with changing up our offensive formation a bit by putting Lachy in offense in the hopes of changing the score. This didn’t work but I had come up with a solution and give me a try up the attacking end of the field. I began making use of my size to create space in the key for my teammates to cut in and use strong teamwork to score. By the end of the 4th quarter we had changed the tide of the game into our favour thanks to Lachy and I’s good adaptability to change our formation.

We won that game and I had made a huge impact on the final score of the game by using my knowledge and good game sense to fix the problem with our team. Lachy and I had numerous moments where we had used our leadership skills to get the win for our team. East Fremantle Blues won the grand-final thanks to Lachy and I’s leadership and teamwork.
