This year InnovatED was a disappointment, as the group that I had was not passionate. Which I was quite not happy about. I tried my best to make my group move forward by doing most of the work. The people in my group were Connor, Samuel or known as Sam, and Aidan. This was a missed opportunity as I wanted to pursue my idea and try to make lots of money, and gain experience. Sadly, I could not. I would have liked this opportunity to gain some experience, if not from my knowledge but from experience. Some things that went well were that towards the end my team started to act more like a team and less like a bunch of unenthusiastic bunches. This was in the last 2 weeks of InnovatED, which I was kind of relieved. Sadly, our team started working at a good pace at a late time which then made Mrs Shaw conclude the shutting of our business. This was a loss that I will never forget and I am looking forward to doing this again next term more faster.
What were our mistakes?
All of our team members had COVID-19 at least once. So that meant that at least one person in our team was missing which resulted in bad performance. Also it was lack of listening, we all were supposed to bring our materials that were supposed to be used for making our products, but none of the 3 bought anything in the beginning. I asked them to bring it in the term 1 holidays and term 2 was delayed for 3 weeks because of that mistake. Also some of my group members wanted to join other groups, so they were less passionate.
