Hey everyone, as you have read from my title I am Dylan Maxwell. I am in year seven at All Saints College in bull creek, Perth. I am a new student who came just this year. I am originally from Ireland. I have only moved to Australia in the last eight months. So far it has been amazing. There is no Covid lockdowns happening, the sports here are incredible and there are so many cool and interesting people I have met here. There are plenty more reason of why I like it here but I’m afraid I’m going to have to move on. All Saints so far has been phenomenal although I must say that it has been a lot different from what I am used to. One of the significant differences was having to use a laptop, this was not something that pupils did in Ireland. At first I thought it was just a one day experience but then I was advised otherwise. It was weird at first but now I have gotten used to it. The teachers are really nice and helpful which is always good. I like all of my teachers in different ways. Sport and drama are my favourite subjects. Some others I enjoy are maths, science, innovateED and Hass. I all enjoy specific areas in these subjects. For example right now we are doing biology in science which I really enjoy because I get to learn about such a variety of species and also about humans. Sport is my passion. I enjoy playing all sports but my top three are tennis, basketball and hockey. I play state tennis and I also play basketball for the school. We recently won the championship in our division and moved up. I met so many new people who are now some of my closest friends. Hockey is unfortunately over for the summer season. We came third in our division narrowly missing the finals. So that’s me, I love school, Sport and Drama.
