Collaboration is a skill of empowerment improving. It is working with others towards a goal. For me, collaboration is a vital skill that needs to be used every single day. It is how the world works now adays.

Throughout this year, I have been a part of many groups which used collaboration to help each other overcome different obstacles. An example of this is our poetry tasks when we learned how to analyse poems. Working within my table group, I understood certain parts of poetry that others in the group didn’t. But there were also others at my table who understood things I didn’t. Applying the skill of collaboration is how we were able to communicate to better each other and show how parts of the poetry worked.

Another example that demonstrates how I have used collaboration this year is the Current Affairs task. This was in term one and it allowed me to become better friends with the people in my friend group. To start the task, we had to decide on a script. Once this was decided, collaboration was the most important capability that we used during the rest of this project.
