Binge Drinking

This year, when doing out alcohol topic in health, we had the opportunity to do an expo which taught people about alcohol. Doing this we got into groups and created some sort of game/or something that you wanted to do that taught people about alcohol, the laws and the recommendations when drinking it. My group in this project made a board game that would educate people. In this game instead of dice you had to answer a question and if you got it right you could move. This work as the questions were alcohol based.

What did I learn doing this project

Some of the biggest things I learnt throughout doing this project is the laws about alcohol restrictions and the recommendations on how much and when you should drink if at all for example it is illegal to drink alcohol under 18 years of age and the recommended limit for drinking over different amount of times. Also, I learnt about how to stay safe if drinking alcohol.

The best advice I would give.

If I was to give one piece of advice to a teenager about to start drinking it would be to follow the recommendations about drinking amounts. I would give this advice as drinking too much or to often can cause serious short and long effect and if found to be drinking too much you may end up doing things you shouldn’t and end up getting fines or even time in prison.

How did my group work together

My group throughout this project worked very well together. I would say this because we divided up the roles very well and made sure one person was doing to much or more than the others. We also had some things we needed to bring in and made sure that one person was bringing in more than they could and everyone had a role to do and something to bring.
