In school we are doing something called Project Utopia, it is where we basically make something more environment friendly and renewable. For Science I am making a design to capture rain water and hopefully reuse it. This is way more water efficient.
My design is basically where the water falls on the roof and slides down into a wide spread pipe which transports the rain water into a massive tank. Then the rain water is used for dishes, toilets etc. This way we don’t waste precious water. Also in country’s with a lot of rain water can be transported to country’s that are having a drought or very low amount of water.
Why is recycling rain water good
Recycling rain water is reliable, free and most important of all it is eco-friendly. Here are some ways you can use rain water.
- Can be used to flush your toilet
- It can be used to wash your car
- You can use it to water your garden
- You can use it to wash dishes
All while saving money. You see if you didn’t recycle rainwater you would have to spend at least 2000 dollars on water. But if you recycle rainwater then its all free and you can save 2000 bucks.
