Visual Art Map Project

My Process

The last two periods of Thursday have been a highlight of every week of year seven. I have really enjoyed this experience. I think I used organisation because I finished with time to spare. I enjoyed the creativity that this room encouraged. My progress with this project came to me swiftly and I had time to really appreciate what I was doing. I am disappointed that I won’t have art next term. A big thanks to Ms Elscot!

I picked a map of the moon. Originally I wanted a map of the Amazon. That map was taken. I looked through the box, a bit disappointed until I found the map of the Moon. The Moon stood out to me for several reasons. One, everyone else was doing a map on Earth. Two, it was folded in a neat package which made it look neat and simple. And finally three, I love the moon because it’s a big contrast in the sky (White on black) and I love the term luna (Meaning moon). Overall I’m very happy with my choice.

I have learned a lot from the experience and I’m very sad to say goodbye to Visual Art until next year.
