Christmas Market Project
The Process
We started by first picking a group consisting of 2-4 people. In my group I had chosen Fletcher Adams, and Joel Howarth. We then started brainstorming ideas. We came up with the succulent idea, which we used, a custom photo booth ornament service, and paracord keychains and bracelets. Then we had to settle on an idea, get it approved by Mrs. Shaw and then make some prototypes and show her. Once we did that we then had to make all of our products, and we brought them to school and watered them. We put the logo on our pots and sold them the next day. We then counted up all the money we got from the lunch period before figuring out our profit from our business.
The Logo
We came up with a lot of designs for the logo, some of which we argued about. We drew some, used apps to make them for us, and made some our self. The logo consists of a green background, with a white text, with the slogan on the bottom, and a icon on the left of our logo. Here is our logo on the right.
The Stall
Our stall was decorated with a green checkered table cloth. We also used a chalkboard to right our prices, and half of our plants on display. We had a cardboard box with our other plants underneath our stall. We also had some specific plants on it that were sold for more money.
Capability Wheel
We used Creative, Problem solving and ethical capabilities. Creative was because we used different ideas from everyone and combined them, our Problem solving for the bumps we had along the way like drilling holes into the pots, and ethical because they are recycled plants and pots.
