Service partner problems

As part of the innovate ED

program at All Saints, I was able to work for an organization to help solve their problem. I chose RAAFA. RAAFA is located just down the road of our school, and we were provided with the opportunity to help their residents by designing a food transportation service.

Our challenge was to produce a prototype of a food transport system to help there resident when they are ill and can’t make it to the areas where food is provided so that they don’t miss out. I was really excited to hear about this as I am passionate about helping people and I want to make a difference and help people. I also have some good family friends that like at RAAFA and I want them to be comfortable and fed and happy.

First of all We went threw the planning faze thinking of multiple ideas to solve this problem before choosing that best few ideas to combine to produce a prototype then it was time to research we researched all the different components of our food cat to find out what products are the least expensive and what could be locally sourced. Then finally we came up with a final prototype and presented a pitch to a member of RAAFA.

Some of the school’s values I have displayed are empathy I have empathized with the people of RAAFA and what they are going threw and trying to help them. Courage I got up the confidence to speak in front of our class and to pick in front of a person from RAAFA and finally respect I respected all my group members and their ideas.
