Project Utopia was a group project that we did in class over the two terms. The project was about designing and creating a sustainable city that is liveable for a whole community. We had to think about the 17 Global Goals to make sure that utopia will be sustainable and liveable. The global goals we believed were most important to our community were clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, zero hunger.
While we were completing Project Utopia, some of my strengths included creating our utopia on CoSpaces on the computer. I was good at working with my friends and as we all listened to each other idea. I was good at making designs for each of the buildings and cities and I was good at giving ideas to my group to put in our utopia. I kept my friends motivated while we were doing the utopia so they did not give up and we could create the best work we could.
If we would repeat the utopia project, we would take more time to catch up with each other. Once, we FaceTimed each other, but we could have done this more regularly. We would spend more time on the design of the utopia and agree with one and stick with it, and we would put more detailed pictures and explain them in more detail.
Project Utopia taught me a lot about what I am good at and what I am bad at. I learnt a lot about sustainable housing and what is good for the environment. I learnt about the 17 global goals and how important they are. I had a good experience with this project, some times it was difficult and sometimes it was easy.
