The Christmas market was by far the best year seven experience.
At the start our group came up with the idea of Ping pong poppers and they seemed very popular toward majority of the other year 7s so we kept the idea. Because our product was so popular we raised the price from $2 to $3 because we knew people would spend lots of money on our product. Our price per unit was very low because it only took three things to make our product. The only issue was that it took ages to make them.

While we were making the ping pong poppers we came into a problem and we could no longer make the targets. So we Improvised and changed our product completely into a toy that you shoot in the air and catch instead of shooting it at a target. We could’ve done more decoration on our stall because we had to quickly borrow a table cloth and we had no decorations except for 2 posters and a sign saying “only $2.99” instead of $3.00 because it seems like it is less.

On the christmas market day we got heaps of sales and ended up selling out. With a grand total of $66.60 profit. Our stall location was right infront of the canteen which was good because lots of people are there and if they are at the canteen then they most likely have money. Our target audience was going to be year 6s but majority of the people that bought our product were year eights and nines. I found the experience of selling a product very fun but it was difficult for me because I am not good at public speaking.
