Hey, I am Jayden Ooi and this page is about year 7 me.

I am a student of All Saints’ College and currently in my first year of high school. I am a flexible and resilient learner who is passionate about maths and PE because I like it when they challenge me to do my best.

I am passionate about sport and commit a lot of my week to soccer. I play at MUMFC (Murdoch University Melville Football Club) and play in the academy team which is the highest division for my age. I will continue to dedicate myself to training sessions to improve in soccer and any sport that I play.

When I am not studying or playing soccer I am probably on my Xbox. I like to play Fortnite, FIFA and Minecraft with my friends. I am enthusiastic about playing in tournaments and doing my best to be a team player and help place on the leaderboard.

In my spare time I like to play with my rubik’s cube. I can solve a 3×3 in 30 seconds, 2×2 in 14 seconds, 4×4 in 13 minutes and a pyraminx in 3 seconds. I like to be creative and make different patterns with my cubes.

When I was about 3 years old I started martial arts for fun. I was a really fast learner and I got ahead of most people my age really quickly. By the age of 4 I was a blue belt and I had to move up to the senior league which you had to be 6. But I was in it when I was 4. A few years later I was a red belt at the age of 7. Red belt is the second highest in taekwondoe. Then I had to train really hard to get my black belt and I finally got it!

I have played soccer for 3 years and I am in the academy team (the highest team for my age) and I have earned several trophies for different things.

I learned about my favourite game called Fortnite from my friend from soccer. I got really hooked on the game and started grinding. I got really good and almost started playing in tournaments.

My friend learned to solve the rubiks cube and I thought it would be really cool. So I learned it and it took about 2 weeks. I can now do it in about 30 seconds. My best time is 16 seconds!
I learned to do a backflip when I was 7 years old after seeing my friends brother do it on the trampoline. I thought it was really cool, so I did my best to learn it. I kept practicing and landed it perfectly every time on the trampoline. Then I taught my self to do it on the ground with lots of practice. I could land it perfectly when I turned 8.
