Project Utopia Wave Energy

Wave power is produced by the up and down motion of a floating device placed on the surface of the ocean. This is called a WEC (wave, energy, converter) Waves are hardly interrupted and almost always in motion. This makes electricity generation from wave energy a more reliable energy source than wind power since wind is not constantly blowing. The major disadvantage of wave energy is that the energy is only available on the ocean.
