Who is your GRIT Inspiration?
My Grit inspiration is Kent Yamazaki. Kent recently passed away and was a 16-year-old tennis player from WA. He is my grit inspiration because he was extremely close to the high-level community (states), and there were many different times throughout the beginning of his tennis career in which he showed mass amounts of grit. This impacts me greatly, as it takes a lot of grit to reach the high level that he did.
When was a time when you developed your Grit.
A time which I developed grit could be when I was injured in the Australian Tennis National. I had become injured during the tournament, and this setback developed my grit going forward. This is because it showed the opportunities which I had for the future, in the sense of what is possible to be accomplished. This occurrence had pushed me going forward, and I believe developed grit.
What are some activities which develop Grit.
Some activities in which I believe develop grit could include doing gym (working out). This is because it pushes you further than many other activities, and gives you this mindset in which allows you to continue. Another activity to develop grit could be doing high-intensity activities in which target common fears. An example of this could be a high course, which targets the fear of heights, and many more. This develops your grit in the sense of pushing through, no matter how far it is outside of your comfort zone.
