Connected Learning – Nexus/Tech *2022*
For most of this term, the connected learning rotation I have been on is… NEXUS/TECH! Nexus teaches us about Researching, Evaluating sources, Paint 3D, Sway/Adobe Spark, Creating a Video, and Graphic design. My favorite part, that this post is about, is CREATING A VIDEO!!! 🙂
- The first part of creating a video is making a storyboard. A storyboard is a drawing of the different scenes of your future video. You can put these in little boxes:
- The second part is making a script, you can make a script to relate to your storyboard, or you can just wing it!
- Next, is shooting. You need to shoot your video. Go off your storyboard and script and follow these tricks we learned:
- Point the camera at what you want to capture
- Press record before you start the scene, you will be able to trim it in the editing.
- Stop recording about 2 seconds after the scene ends (again, we can trim later!)
- If you make a mistake, it’s easier to keep recording, just wait around 2 seconds, then start again. YOU CAN TRIM LATER!!!
- Always shoot more than you need.
- Try different camera angles, and different shots, move the camera!
- Once you have gotten all your shots, it’s time to put it all together!! The best app to use is Adobe Premier Rush or Premier Pro.
- In Rush, you can cut videos, edit them, adjust the sound, and MORE! 🙂 to start you just have to click on ‘Create a new Project’
- This is what it will look at inside ———> once in, you need to insert your photos and then you’re ready to edit! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this post and you have learnt about Video Editing and Filming! Good Luck!
