In Year 8, I had to do a variety of projects and I learned a variety of skills during the year 8 skills. I will talk about myself and the abilities I have learned during this journey of the year 8 course. This journey and everything I have learned has helped me in many different subjects.
Creation of current affairs
At the beginning of term one, we had to work on 3 tasks based on current affairs. For the 3rd task, we had to choose the best script in our opinion and then act it out in front of the class. This task bought me many skills. Like listening to others, expressing our own opinions and using the ideas of the group to achieve a common goal.
Creation of a short story
In term 2 we had to make a short story using a source that Mr Gatti had given the class. I used seeking assistance, Using feedback. I used some skills from the learner agency to guide me to guide my project these skills included seeking assistance and using feedback. I used these skills by asking my parents, friends, and teachers for assistance in my short story. So in this task, I used skills using feedback and seeking assistance to help create my overall product.
