Wind, Water, Waves

To create a sustainable society, we need to know about water efficiency (the practice of reducing the consumption of water), energy efficiency (the practice to maintain optimal energy usage), waste efficiency (the practice to get rid of waste in a way that actively contributes to the sustainability development goals) and food production (the practice of producing food in a way that doesn’t harm the environment, is economically efficient, meets current demands and can be used well into the future). It’s important that the next generation are knowledgeable about this because it can help build a better environment and can ensure that there’s enough resources left for the future generation.

My household contributes to the sustainability of our society through water efficiency, energy efficiency, waste efficiency and food efficiency quite well. For water efficiency, we’ve always turn off the tap whilst brushing our teeth, and my dad sometimes checks around the house for leaks as it reduces the usage of water and makes it more sustainable.

Although my household tries our best to contribute to sustainability, we still have some stuff we need to improve on. One would be taking shorter showers, since we kinda have a problem with taking long showers, so that wastes a lot of unnecessary water. Another thing we could improve on would be to water the plants with my old water from my water bottle instead of just pouring it down the drain.
