The Cello
I really enjoy playing instruments. Since Year 1, I have been playing the Classical Guitar. I didn’t do many AMEB exams on the guitar, and in Year 3 I did AMEB grade 3, and got a B+. I played the French Horn in Year 5, but I didn’t really enjoy it. Now, I am playing the Cello, and I really enjoy. I only started this year, but I’m already Grade 2! I used to play in the WA Classical Guitar Society Orchestra when I was only 10! That’s the youngest ever person to join it!
I enjoy playing in front of an audience, whether it’s in the CPA or in front of my family. I have performed in multiple soirees and showcases. I play in an ensemble called Saint Strings, and in Amati Strings. I feel a connection when I play my instrument, and it helps me to relax. Music is one of my favourite hobbies, and I am very grateful that I get to have this opportunity.
