Year 7 Chinese

Ni hao! In Year 7, I have learnt a lot in Chinese. I had participated in Chinese in Year 5 and 6, but I still learnt a lot in the high school program. The first thing that we had focused on is family. We learnt about all of the basic family members in China, and what we call them. We then learnt about different pets, and what we might call them. We learnt how to say sentences, and when we were proficient at that, we went to writing. We first started off by writing in Pin Yin, which is basically Chinese in English writing. We learnt about different tone marks, and what they mean. Lastly, we started learning about how to write characters. We learnt about strokes and radicals, and how to write some of the words that we had learnt how to say.

Above you will see the link to a video that I made, introducing myself in Chinese. Here, you will see in English what I said. Hi! My name is Nishaan Sunner. I am 12 years old.
