My team was made up of Dylan, Katharine, Saya and myself. I thought my group was good and that the people in the team collaborated well. in english we made speaches for this part of the project, we were marked on our public speaking skill. I think my group used communication effectively in both English and Hass. In Hass, we used communication because we had to make sure everyone was using our time effectively so if Saya and I were working on the vision board and Dylan was working on the map we had to make sure that what everyone was doing was vital and if it was just and extra we could drop it and help with the vision board and then go back and do the map.

Timeline

Week 1: In week 1 we worked on defining what the global goals were and how necessary they were to the project. this part was just making sure we knew what all the global goals were before we started our work.

Week 1 Nicole Lockwood: This part of the project allowed us to do the first brainstorm about ideas we had for transport, sustainability and lots more. We also had a visit from a special guest called Nicole Lockwood she talked to us about the freo port and how some people didn’t want it to go.

Week 2: This week we got into our groups and actually started defining the problem and ways to work around them by finding global goals that best fit this project.

Week 3: In this week we worked on brainstorming what freo is currently and how we can keep the freo vibe in the redesign while creating a modern edge to the city.

Walking tour: this walking tour gave us the opportunity to see the area we are redesigning. We saw the space and ways we could use the space well.

Week 4: We spent this week working on our ideas for the freo port redesign this is the week my group decided to make a water park and we focused on tourism in a fun and exciting way

Week 7: In this week we started our first plan for our vision board this included making a draft of where everything should be. This week we also had two special guests that specialize in green spaces which meant the people focusing on adding green space to their plan got help with their design.

Week 8: In week eight we had to work fast to finish our vision boards because the showcase was the week after we also worked on making our speeches perfect and having a good order for when we present them.

Showcase: The showcase was the time we had to pitch our ideas to the committee who are designing the freo port. We had two periods to explain our ideas to the guests who came to see our ideas.
