Year 8 OLP

For our year 8 camp, we went to Nanga Bush camp, this camp taught us teamwork and gave Stirling a sense of community. The activities included Hiking, Tree top adventures, orienteering, shelter building and rite of passage and there was loads more.

We hiked over 11km in two days, it was fun just talking with our friends, we hiked to both of our campsites that we stayed with and got to know everyone so well over those two days.

During my group orienteering (me, sofia and scarlett) managed to get lost we took over two hours and got picked up by Mr Young in the ute. Even though we got lost we tried our best and found out more about each other which made us stonger as a group.

Camp was a funny experince that taught us the importence of freindship and community and taught us capabilites that we can use in the working world and in our daily life.
