Our group consists of Ruby, Kereen and Poppy. We were assisted by Ms Dolan to help us with this project. We have made a short video demonstrating how to make a coloured flame. The way we presented this was in a rap where we created a small music video showing how to make a coloured flame. We included information about what is a chemical change, what chemicals we need in order to make the flame-coloured and which chemicals make different colours. We really hope you enjoy watching it 🙂
In my opinion, I really enjoyed this. We mainly did the videos in the last week because we had to create the rap. This was a really fun thing to do in science, my group and I worked very well. Ms Dolan and Mrs Beechen helped my group make the coloured fire. If we didn’t have their help then we would have been able to do this. At the beginning of choosing what we wanted to do, we had many options like:
- Baking a cake
- Elephant Tooth past
- Polymer Balls
- coloured fire
We went with coloured fire because it was the coolest. Raps are a really fun way of learning, you are having fun raping whilst remembering how a chemical change happens. Kereen, Poppy and I have done a rap before in religion and found it very interesting and fun.
