Confidence:
In year 8 my confidence really went up this year, I have felt like I’ve gotten better in English also. This past year my grades have improved and that has made me keep up the good work. I have enjoyed this year doing English because I am able to ask questions and get lots of good feedback.
Skills:
I have learned so many new ways how to structure my essays, this year we have done many essays not just in English. The essay structure I have been taught has helped me get good marks in other subjects like Hass. Essays are things that we will have to come across in the high school journey and I now know good ways to structure them.
Involvement:
I have gotten involved a lot more this year I have been able to raise my hand and contribute to class discussions. When we do group activities I always like to try to get some people I usually would try and get people i wouldn’t usually work with and don’t really talk to that much. This makes me learn new things from others and see another view on work.
Organization:
I have always come to class with what I needed usually, but sometimes I forget to bring my computer charger. This is a big thing because sometimes I have English towards the end of the day, usually, my computer is very close to dying. I have to bring my computer charger to class and my books. People in my class also have chargers so sometimes I can borrow them.
2023 goals
Some goal of mine is to start reading, I hate reading. I can’t stay in one spot and just read, this is a bad habit of mine. I really hope to find a book I enjoy and then from there start enjoying books more. I also leave things to the last minute so I want to try and do things right at the start.
